For those of us living in Florida, we love this time of year and what better time of year to have the Riding into History Concours. This event is one of the most popular concours d’elegance in the Eastern United States, and will take place May 19 at the World Golf Village near St. Augustine, Florida. The organizers are reporting that entries are pouring in and that the vintage, custom, and competition motorcycles on display are expected to exceed the 300 that appeared at last year’s show. This year’s event, benefiting the Buddy Check 12 Breast CancerCcharity, will feature “The Sexy Bikes of Italy,” a theme depicted in a poster by artist Don Bradley. The Grand Marshal will be one-time Benelli rider Kel Carruthers, 1969 250cc world champion and member of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
