Guilty’s Shop Truck for “Left Coast”

Guilty’s Shop Truck for “Left Coast”

Aug 20, 2009

Guilty Bike HaulerIf you haven’t figured out yet, Guilty Customs is in the process of opening an second shop on the “left coast”….far far from our home state of Florida.  That “left coast” location is Orange, CA to be exact. Of course part of any new opening requires tons of necessary items besides lathes, welders and lifts…and first on the agenda was a cool ride for the “Warden”.  So finding a 67′ Chevy Long bed (shagged from former drag racer Chip Gerst), we quickly started doing the necessary “altitude/attitude” changes by putting drop spindles up front and lowered coils in the rear; securing some cool new rims and rubber for the ride.  Next was a new rear end that will drastically lower the butt end. Once that all happens, we’ll be doing some body molding to fill holes and remove the trim, then off to media blasting.  After that some new “face” paint and we’ll be rollin’ in style “left coast” style.  So, if you have any ideas on paint or graphic’s for the truck let us know. We’re open to ideas and who knows you could get some free swag for your efforts.  This picture shows the truck with front end done, and waiting for the new rear axle.

  1. Now that sound cool 36Spec! We’ll update everyone once done. New rear end is in now too.

  2. I would leave it just the way it sits. Maybe put a nice 383 in it, some pipes that run down the side and exit a few feet behind the cab (look sort of like running boards), and some fuzzy dice hangin’ from the mirror.
