Guilty’s 67′ Chevy C10 Project Truck

Guilty’s 67′ Chevy C10 Project Truck

May 14, 2010

A few months back (see here) we’d posted about our newest side project at Guilty, (which is a full blown, frame off  build based on a 67 Chevy C10 truck). This truck has definitely taken on a life of it’s own since yours truly has been dealing with his own set of health issues. Our partner in crime on this project is Jimmy at WellBilt who has taken this project to another level and done an awesome job!  The truck to date has some of the following mod’s already done and others are in progress: rear frame notch-done, front lowered spindles-done, cadillac rear brake lights-pending, roll pan-done, new smooth front bumper-done, inside bed walls skinned-pending, fully bagged at all 4 corners-done, custom radiator-done, drip rails removed and shaved door handles-done, smoothed fire wall-done, custom fuel cell between rails in back-done, new custom built 350 4 Bolt main engine-done, new seats upholstered in “fine” leather-done, suicide doors-done, 55 chevy dash grafted into cab-pending, frame completely boxed, punched and powder coated-done, new hardware and “do-dads” added. Frame was powder-coated in black and copper vein, and 20″ billet wheels are on order., along with Hot-Rod AC/Heater unit.  Apparently the truck was used as a SoCal state DOT truck as there were at least 5 different layers of paint and tons of rust (especially in the cab). And to our surprise the truck has a TH400 tranny. Yippee! So, all-in-all lets just say: “The truck project went just a bit overboard!” LOL. But we’re going to have fun with it once done. If you want to see more pic’s of the progress and current status check our Facebook album HERE.
