Appreciating a Veteran

Appreciating a Veteran

May 31, 2010

If your a veteran, you may not have possession of a Purple Heart, or a Silver Star.  Or any commemorative badge or medal of your work and sacrifice for this country.  What you do have is our deepest appreciation and gratitude for the job you did either while in the service or currently as you serve your nation. The job you did was done unselfishly and took your complete dedication.  Which was to protect and secure this nation and the life we as a American have come to appreciate (and unfortunately, in some instances, take for granted). Thanks to all of you who have served, or are still serving our nation in the Armed Forces. Today we honor you and those who have died fighting for our country. Being in the armed forces is an honorable vocation; one that you should be proud of. As there are only a few that are equipped to handle or called to take on that monumental task. Being protected by you and our armed services is a privilege we have as Americans and we don’t take that lightly. Thank you veterans!
