This book of pictures, compiled and published by Beverly Roberts, (and introduction by Bill Hayes, Author, Motorcycle Culture Historian, and American Biker) is the fulfillment of a promise a daughter made to her father. From the beginning of this book you realize you’ve stepped into some “time warp” where brotherhood, colors, riding, fun and family were the only objectives of life. All from a girl who has grown up with the people pictured within it’s pages. Granted, for only a few these days will this lifestyle ever be a reality. While most of the photo’s in the book are “behind the scenes” and offer an intimate look into the lifestyle of the members of the Detroit Chapter of the Outlaws 1%er MC, other can be disturbing to others. These photo’s were taken by Beverly’s father and not published until now. We’ve ordered the book ourselves and have had it for about a week now, and have to admit, it’s captivating to flip through and examine the bikes, the people and settings they find themselves.
