Some like it vertical, others horizontal. Either way, tanks have to work. Which is apparent with the oil tanks from the guys at 7 Metal West. The tank is made from two .125″ thick aluminum halves and measures 9″ tall and is 5.375″ round (including ribs). The tank is fully TIG welded and pressure tested to 20 psi. Each tank comes in a standard brushed finish. There are 2 options for the filler neck and a choice of push-in style or screw cap which gives you choices too. All of the oil tanks are spun for maximum durability. Price is $405.00 and every tank is made to order (which accounts for the price). You can check the work of 7 Metal west here.
