After studying the front suspension we came to the conclusion the lower arm ball joint and the upper triple tree shaft will need to stay inline to work properly on the bike. Therefore, requiring the building of a new top tree with a significant pitch that kicks the legs forward the desired amount. Guessing a 4″ adjustment and making a new mount that positions the lower arm balljoint 2″ back from where the stock bracket mounts to the lower Legs. We believe this will effectively rake the front forks the correct amount and the pivot points are all cool! Especially since we’re not interested in changing/modifying the behemoth neck structure. This type of geometry isn’t new as it has been used successfully on custom Harleys with much more rake than we want to achieve here. So we’re pretty confident things will pan out sufficiently. Our goal is to have around 36 degrees measured at the legs. Just enough “attitude” for what we’re looking for. You agree?
