So, what do you get when you have a guy that has a passion for motorcycles with a degree from AMI, is a welding specialist and pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology? You have Steve Kingsbur, who likes to put his hands to good use by building things with metal! While in college Steve worked on a few custom bikes and during that time had an idea for the design of actual flame tanks. So when things calmed down with school, he put his efforts toward making his dream come true. These custom one-off tanks are made from 3003-H14 Aluminum and are hand formed. Overall dimensions for smaller one is 17″L X 8″T X 8″W with a capacity of a little
over a gallon.The larger one is 8″ tall and 8″ wide with a capacity of over a gallon. Steve’s next design is something along the lines of tribal designs for use with bobbers/choppers and in a pro-street tank style. So look for more ideas from this guy! You can contact Steve HERE.
