I don’t know about you but whether i’m working under the truck or trying to work on a bike in the garage, light (or lack thereof) is always an issue. Especially at night and especially when i’m squeezed up under something or it’s on the lift. Looks like a company called Illuminup has figured out the problem for all of us with this product.
These mats incorporate ultra-efficient, proprietary “SunStruck” LED technology to deliver a “illumination profile that few can achieve” with any handheld or spot light. Dimensions are 36.5” L x 20.75” W and includes a 2.5” beveled edges all around. Material is made from 100% recyclable durable polypropylene and has LED’s (96 per matt) at 32-watts, which are held in place with a unique dovetail design that holds the LED’s in place. And with a life expectancy of 10 to 15 years, it’s going to probably outlast its user, and it’s virtually indestructible. Every piece is replaceable separately and very easy on maintenance – mild cleaner and water. And even better, it does not get hot. There are other uses too, such as car or bike shows, i guess, but for me, it’s staying in the garage for sure!
