We hear it said (and say it to ourselves) time and time again….”Why doesn’t Harley listen to what the consumer wants?!” And repeatedly, HD seems to ignore the cries. Granted, HD in their infinite wisdom, tanked Buell last year (and gave away probably one of the best motorcycles built), but also the biggest growth markets for any manufacturer, in ours and other peoples opinion. But hey, we’re just no-bodies. So again we ask ourselves the question, “is there any motorcycle that will/could introduce a younger generation to Harley Motorcycles”? Possibly. Just possibly. One person that’s not waiting for HD to come into the world of “new riders” and move beyond the “naval gazing games” is Edward Morgan. He’s been putting together some concepts that specifically addresses Harleys lack of interest and/or capacity to reach the younger riders.

Granted we’re a bit biased on why we’re showing these renderings…..we think their cool, functional and meet a need in the market. Plain and simple. But then again, isn’t that what most forward looking companies should be looking at regardless of what industry they are in? Plus, it’s just a damn good idea. Morgan has kept the engine in the classic Harley V design yet the rest of the bike has a very futuristic looking and feel. Too bad it takes people outside H-D to re-design their products.
