Yep it was about time we heard from those Van Skyndel brothers (Arie and Mark) as we were getting a bit bored with the existing video’s out in the market (ok there are very few quality videos out to be honest), so we were stoked to see what Mark and Arie were coming out with. And in this case we’re not disappointed with their latest effort appropriately called ”Two Wheel Terrors Vol. #2“.
Incorporating quality video production, editing, cinematography and kicking bikes (you’ll see plenty of pans, open primaries, hand shifters, springers and rigids), the brothers hold true to their vision of providing an insiders view of the custom motorcycle scene, with pounding in-your-face music and honest raw video of riders enjoying themselves.
While a lot of people may not understand the passion people have for their bikes and the freedom it represents, those that do, will quickly grasp the content and intent of the Van Skyndel’s efforts in this video. So, what are you waiting for!!! click HERE to view the teaser. You won’t be dissappointed. This video features Foundry Moto, Jason Pullen, Slims Fabrication with riding scenes in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Arizona, and San Diego. Video sales for $24.95 at Choppertown.
Hey, thanks for coming back! Great to see there are a few of you out there that have taste and style! Seriously, thanks for visiting. If you know of stories you think people would be interested in, shoot us a line C'ya!
Yep, that’s right, those of us in the Limpnickie Lot have gotten through another year without any injuries and/or lawsuits and what better way to show our appreciation than to come out with a 2nd round of the, “Limpnickie Lot Builders Manual“.
Now you may remember we rolled out our first maiden catalogue last year at the Easyriders V-Twin Expo in Cincinnati to a load of surprised attendees and happy builders. Now we’re doing it again and giving everyone enough time to consider their marketing budgets and to get their ads ready. So, read closely guys and gals. Deadline is January 15th so don’t delay. We’ll be sure to kick some butt again this year and set the V-Twin Expo on it’s ears again. So stay tuned.
We saw this over at our friend Cyril Huze site and had to say “about time!”. Cool styling and definitely “retro” influences. Granted some may not like it but for the type builds rolling out of the doors at Guilty Customs, this fits the bill big time! Wimmer has added this product to their ever growing inventory of intakes and air cleaners. This one specifically replaces the S&S teardrop model. You just remove the S&S cover and replace the filter with this new oversized one along with the new cover. It is CNC machined billet and it’s intake fits all S&S carburetors and is available in several finishes. So you can mix and match to your hearts content. The “lifetime” filter is easy to service and with an MSRP starting at $225.00, you can’t go wrong. Check it out at their site, HERE.
Check out FC’s newest product for those loving the old cast aluminum look. It’s their cast aluminum oil filter mount. The mount is available for left or right side application, and fits 1″ tubing and takes stock HD filters (1/8 NPT fittings).Price: $99.00. Sweeeet!

We’re not getting all “pretty boy” on ya, but did want to show off some of the newest swag rollin out of our friend Frank Zubieta’s NINO925 shop for Guilty Customs. Having worn Nino925 jewelry for a while it was only natural that Guilty and Nino925 teamed up to bring the Guilty line to the market. As you can see the line includes a signet ring, bracelet and pendant. All using the Guilty Customs famous rotating “G” insignia.
Made from Sterling Silver and hand crafted, the ring weighs in at .20 grams and is 19mm wide with 22mm height. This ain’t no prissy ring! There will only be 50 of each item being made, so grab yours either online at nino925 or at Guilty Customs store. Oh, yeah, the price. $145 for the ring. $250 for the bracelet and $45 for the pendant. Not bad for some cool swag.
Knowing that most of our readers will appreciate things that are “cool”, as well as can be personalized, here is our latest installment. A firm in Germany called “Style Your Garage” has created posters for garage doors that make it look as if your garage is “where all the action is“.
Made for the up-and-over garage doors common in Europe, these posters mount with velcro and can be adapted to fit sectional garage doors also. If you have a two-car garage, no worries as they can make posters that will span both doors. Prices range from 199.00 to 399.00 for double doors. The company can also turn a photo of yours into a garage poster, but you have to be careful with this as not EVERY picture can be blow up to be 6 1/2 feet or bigger without looking distorted. Your garage billboard comes complete with a separate, self-adhesive Velcro fastener and can be attached immediately! The billboard is fitted in the same sort of way as a fly screen at the window. And it doesn’t matter what material (metal, wood, plastic, etc.) the up-and-over garage door is made from.
With all the things going on in the world; 401k dropping off the radar, real estate in the crapper, war and political scandals bombarding us, Guilty Customs figured what better way to forget all that than with some new bling!
So, teaming up with Frank Zubieta at Nino925 they’ve designed this killer signet ring using Guilty Customs famous rotating “G’s”. Made from Sterling Silver and hand crafted, this ring weighs in at .20 grams and is 19mm wide and with 22mm height. This ain’t no prissy ring!
There will only be 50 of these made so grab yours either online or check Guilty Customs out during Sturgis this year. They will be set up with the Limpnickie Lot at the Broken Spoke. Oh, yeah, the price: $145.00. Not bad for some cool swag! Stay tuned also for new bracelets and pendants with the same cool rotating Guilty “G”.

S&S Cycle has received executive orders from the powers to be at California Air Recourses Board (CARB), to sell S&S engines for “new build†custom bikes in the State of California. The engines covered by the executive orders are the S&S V100C, V113C, V124C and X117C. The V100C, V113C, and V124C are carbureted engines with displacements of 100, 113, and 124 cubic inches respectively. Again, all of these engines are intended for “new build†custom motorcycles. The S&S CA engines are similar to the existing S&S 49-State EPA engines, but were made compliant with California evaporative emissions requirements with the addition of a carbon canister, a vapor valve, an evaporative hose routing label, and a sealed air cleaner assembly on the carbureted models. Additional restrictions have also been applied to the maximum capacity of the fuel tank and the distance between the fuel tank and engine. Oh, yeah, one other note: these engines cannot legally be used to replace the engine in a previously registered vehicle. Apparently S&S is working toward approval of one or more replacement engines for 1984-’99 Harley-Davidson big twin motorcycles originally equipped with Evolution engines. They are expecting to hears something on this before the end of the year. Hmm, lets see, has CARB ever done anything on someone else’s timeline….nope. So we’ll see how long this takes.
The guys at Shade Tree Fabrications are offering several new parts which we thought you’d like to see. Their parts take us back to a time when the use of hand-cast antique brass and aluminum were more common and they are using these everyday parts, such as school door knobs and microphones, in new and creative ways. That’s cool in our book! Kyle Shorey (the mastermind behind STF) is fabricating these parts in Dallas Texas with some help from his friends and there are plans to release new parts in the coming months. So if i were you i’d keep an eye on his web site. You can get there by clicking HERE. Wouldn’t mind using some of these on one of our upcoming builds. Hey Kyle, give us a call will ya buddy!

So, where does one start in trying to capture both the energy, spirit and people that make up the Easy Rider V-Twin Expo? First we can start by saying that the Limpnickie Lot was the happening place! And that’s not just us talking either. Conversations about the “Lot” whether in the elevators, on the escalators, in the restaurants or walk ways was commonly overheard and encouraging words and support from industry leaders and legends only reinforced the decision that was made to push forward with this venue. Media coverage by various TV shows, online and print magazines were constant throughout the days. Even Jay Barbieri from American Thunder and the crew got involved as they filmed and held interviews with a number of builders for their new format TV show on Speed Channel.
With the builders represented and promoting the new “Limpnickie Builders” catalogue, (featuring parts from each participant), along with high energy video and audio as well as live skateboarding exhibits happening right on the main floor, the attendees were both inquisitive, some puzzled and others delighted to see how much fun some builders can still have.
The panel discussions that covered “Marketing to Women” as well as “Marketing to the Next Generation” brought a lot of attendees as well as needed attention to these two growing areas as did the panel discussion presented by Keith Ball of Bikernet on recent legislation facing the industry. Attendance, while down was not a deterrent to people asking questions, finding out about the newest products and generally networking with their friends and associates in the industry. Overall the show still represents the determination and indomitable spirit that this industry has represented over the years, regardless of the economic situation we find ourselves in. Sorry we don’t have any pictures yet, but we will shortly and will post.
